Chai Ingredients: INGREDIENTS 3 c water 2 T yorkshire Black Tea 4 T ginger powder 4 T cardamom 2 t Cinnamon ¼ c Milk ¼ C rose water INSTRUCTIONS Add water to pot and turn on medium heat Grind cardamom in coffee grinder Add black tea to boiling water Add ginger powder, cardamom, cinnamon Let it simmer until dark, stir occasionally Add milk Add rose water
Cake Ingredients: INGREDIENTS 2 c vegetable oil 3 c sugar 4 whole eggs 2 t vanilla extract 2 t baking soda 4 t baking powder 1 t salt 5 c flour 1 ½ c hot chai INSTRUCTIONS Preheat the oven to 350. In the mixer add oil and sugar. Mix Add one egg at a time. Add vanilla. In a medium bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Alternate between chai and dry ingredients into creamed butter and sugar. Pour into 2- 6” pans and 2-8” pans and bake for 25- 30 mins." _______________________________________________________
