No need to be scared: This "Z-O-M-B-I-E-S"-themed cake is fit for humans and zombies alike! Using everything from edible glow powder to neon candy melts, Spencer & Kaitlyn brought the fantasy of Seabrook High School to life in this week's episode of "Disney's Magic Bake-Off."

Vanilla Raspberry Cake Recipe -

Vanilla Cake:
2 c salted butter
3 ¼ c sugar
6 eggs
3 T vanilla
3 ¼ c cake flour
6 t baking powder
½ t baking soda
½ t salt
3 ½ c milk 1 c set aside for oil mixture
¾ c oil
Light green food coloring
Spray 2- 6” and 2-8” baking pans and line with parchment paper
Preheat oven to 335* F
Combine sifted flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, and salt in stand mixer
Combine oil with 8 oz milk in separate bowl - put aside for later
In another bowl whisk 6 eggs, 3TBS vanilla, 12oz. Milk
Slowly add softened butter to the flour mixture until fully incorporated
Next, fully incorporate the oil/milk mixture into the flour/butter mixture. Beat on Medium for 2 minutes
Finally, mix in egg mixture until combined.
Bake at 335* F for 35 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.

Raspberry Compote:
4 c raspberries
4 T water
2 T lemon juice
In a small saucepan over low heat add raspberries, water, and lemon juice. Let simmer until compote forms. Set aside and let cool.

Lime Buttercream:
2 c salted butter
3 ¼ c powdered sugar
Juice from 3 limes
In a clean mixing bowl add butter, powdered sugar and lime. And mix till smooth.
Once cakes are cooled fill with raspberry compote, and frost with lime buttercream.
